Well Well Well

Well, on first note, I no longer blog on blogger. I now currently reside with Vox, to me, a faster, more efficient, and better designed blog site.

Without further delay, here's the link to my new blog.

Bummer

Well, i once saw this drawing at dA(deviantArt) where there was this messy room filled with all the necessities of a rumah bujang with a sofa in the middle and a guy lying down sleeping on it with half his body on the floor. I told myself, THAT was how i wanted to blog. Since i for one ain't that good with words. Okay, maybe i can twist a few tongues but since i was a child i read Lat's comics and how he autobiographed himself through his drawings, it inspired me to make one myself one day. And after reading this graphic novel i found at a friend's place(it was an American artist, i've always wanted to buy a copy of my own but it cost well over 100 bucks, darn you Izzy), i was more determined then ever.

But heck, when it comes down drawing itself without reference, i just can't pull ot off. Especially since lately i've lost my inspiration and my hand has just lost it. Idk why but it's just that it is. So i went on with simpler designs. Next thing you know, as i was reading Kenny Sia's blog(a very funny blogger), i found about, StickGal. I felt guilty all of the sudden. Especially after i read her April 21st entry. xI

She was there first. So I felt like this big Copyright Hammer hit my back leaving me helpless on the floor with my pants undone. Yes, it was a sight quite unholy. But i still managed to get on my feet with my boxers still intact and a "ehem" mechanical pencil in hand plus my cheap A4 paper sketchbook. I drew a rough sketch that later became this....

I knew if i started doing something like it i'd get eaten by that dog one way or another. But here's to chasing a fragment of my dream. Taking chances. xI

btw, i have a small phobia against stray dogs. they have this liking to chase me. :X

King of Kings

As i said, i'll be talking about Kaki King in my next blog. So, here it goes.

So, the first thing that comes to your mind must be a foot doesn't it? King of feet? No, it is in fact a name. Not a real name, but an alias to Katherine Elizabeth King. Known as Kaki King, although known for her guitar skils, she actually plays multiple instruments, in fact, the drums were her first serious instrument.

King's style combines fret tapping with slap bass techniques, using the guitar for percussional beats, as well as sound layering and looping, which creates a percussive and complex sound. She has appeared as a guest artist for several bands such as Foo Fighters, Northern State and Tegan and Sara. And believe it or not, the guitar shots of Evan Taylor(Freddie Highmore) from August Rush is in fact, Kaki's hands. Yes, she was the hand "stuntwoman" so to say.

Ahh and, yesterday i talked about Kaki King's newest video of "Pull Me Out Alive" right? Well, it's a really interesting video since it uses stop motion and light writing. A technique i'm quite familiar with but as a photography technique known as light graffiti and urban light sculpting. Though i'm still not capable of doing them because i don't have the proper gear and i haven't delved into the technique yet. But here are a few examples.

I first heard about her from one of my close friend which also happens to be the source of most of my music, Syahir. I can't remember whether he recommended me it as he mostly did or i found it in his folders and just copied them onto my thumb. But the first album i mused into was her third album "Until We Felt Red". So far it is still my fav album of hers even though i only have three albums which are her first album "Everybody Loves You" and her most recent "Dreaming of Revenge". I still haven't downloaded(i'm sorry Kaki) her second album "Legs to Make Us Longer". Hmm, but then again Everybody Loves You is quite great too. Or maybe it's just that part of me that prefers songs without lyrics. Maybe that's why i'm so into orchestra? -_-"But to really appreciate her talent is to SEE her play. You can see a few of her vids on Kaki King YouTube account. And hei, if you have the time check her albums out. Wait, even if you don't, MAKE TIME. Because her songs are ones not to be missed. Oh and don't forger to watch her new video "Pull Me Out Alive" and the making of the vid as well. ;]

Okay, that's about enough blabber for one day. here's Playing with Pink Noise by Kaki. later. :D

i scavenged the house for cents. off to buy ciggies. :I

Homemade Muses

It was 8am. And no, i didn't just woke up. I stayed up all night reading books that i haven't finished. Namesake, Alchemist, and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime just to name a few. I like to chain read as much as i chain smoke these days. It's a sad fact but i guess the stress really got to me. But since i'm so broke lately i can't even afford a single coke, i've been off the nics for a while. Though i'm really eager for a few drags.

Anyhoo, i was going through youtube to look for vids of Kaki King after i decided reading was starting to really lose it's interest when i found her official youtube account(there's a new vid from her latest album "Dreaming of Revenge" but more on that in my next blog). So i subscribed it and ended up watching at my previous subscriptions which consist of only two other musicians which are Amanda Zelina and KokoKaina
(it's her screen name, real name unknown). I stumbled upon Amanda when i was searching vids of Ray LaMontagne. She had this cover of Ray's song, "Trouble". More on that later too. The artist i want to preview here is KokoKaina. Though not an established singer(for now), she has more than enough potential to knock others off the stage and steal the spotlight.

Some might find her home made recordings reminiscent of Yuna, which is currently rising in Malaysia's underground scene. But KokoKaina in my bold opinion sings at a whole different level. Having a voice that could have been undoubtedly be from a 60's Broadway singer makes her a true jewel, yet again, in my own opinion. According to her profile, she resides in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. All the more reason to appreciate her talent. She's a local girl. Her songs mostly consist of Jazz, Blues, Anti-folk and Modern Baroque. So far she has recorded and uploaded 8 cover songs consisting of Charlie Chaplin's "Smile", The Beatles's "Cry Baby Cry", Audrey Hepburn's classic "Moonriver", Bob Thiele's "What A Wonderful World" and even Whitestripes's "We Are Going To Be Friends". Apart from the covers she also composes her own songs which so far are 10 songs.

Her vocal's really reach out the moment they are thrown at you. And her looks are kept secret. When asked she replied quote "Because i don't have one. Haha. Well, it's because i would like viewers to focus more on the songs and not have the attention shifted elsewhere (not that there is anything much anyways. heh.) This also practices both your and my skills to spot emotions that a song is trying to evoke. So, i'm not really hiding. I just... choose not to show my face. I'm not here to look pretty, i'm just here to share my music. =)" unquote. But hei, lower face and hair seriously reminds me of Shishi though somehow. As i like to say, KokoShishi. haha.

the resemblance xO

But hei, when you are this talented, looks do not matter! Heck, one of my favorite singers in Malaysia is in fact Adibah Noor. She can easily shove Siti off the stage, talent wise, in my opinion of course. So here's to you Kaina, hope u could make an actual recording someday so people around the world could enjoy your music on the go. All the best and goodluck! ;]

Koko Kaina - Just You and Me

btw, no offense to yuna. she's a great singer and composer too.

Of Irish Musicians

I've broken my own promise that i'll shan't make a blog until i've got my bloody pc reformatted and renewed. Because i can't help the fact i wanna share this freakin' creative vid of Fionn Regan's song "Be Good or Be Gone". I was bored one night so i went through Ray LaMontagne's myspace page to see if there were new songs uploaded. Though i was pretty sure that nothing was up. The man is hardly on. I also think that it's not him who manages that site. Don't think he's a myspace kinda guy. Heh.

Anyhow, i realized that he has Damien Rice on his first top friend's list. And hei, i was a regular fan of Damien myself. So i visited his site. And to my surprise, he has The Frames on his list!! Heck, The Swell Season, an album by Glen and Mar was there too. Glen Hansard is the guitarist/vocalist for this Irish band, The Frames(the one mentioned just now), and as of recently, an Academy Award winner as well. He collaborated with Czech pianist/singer Marketa Irglova to make the most melancholy album i've ever heard, The Swell Season(as mentioned earlier also). Mar too won an Academy Award alongside Glen at the Oscars for best song taken from the movie "Once" in which they co-stared together in. Beating both Enchanted and August Rush.

Anyhow, back to the main subject which is about that vid. I was checking out to what other tunes Damien listens to and i found Fionn Regan. I checked out his page and watched the vid there. I was baffled by it. It's just simply, GENIUS. Hah. Well, here's the vid. Sorry for the long lecture on my fascination towards the whole glen, mar, and frames thing. x]

Fionn Regan - Be Good Or Be Gone

btw, just found out Damien was Irish. -___- no wonder he knows bout The Frames.

Pain-tball.

My brother invited me to join him on some paintballing action today. I went up to cyber and stayed at his apartment for the night yesterday. There was a barbecue last night here though. Stayed up till morning. There were lots of chicks, ah moi's and people. Hah. Slept around 4-5 am.

Amazingly though, we woke up at 10 and left for KL at 10.30. The paintball place was in Desa Waterpark. There was an outdoor arena and two or three indoor one. The first indoor match area had an office setting with computers(dead computers) and other office stuff. The second one was more to barrels, tires and nets. We played at the second one. I think there were more settings upstairs but we didn't go any further.

But first we had to fill out and sign these contracts. Didn't read what it was about though. But i think it had something to do about the place won't take any responsibility for any injuries or something. They'd be bankrupt by now if they did. I mean, there's a lot of ways to get injured in this sport. We had this briefing on how important the face mask is. NEVER TAKE IT OFF DURING GAME ON! As long as the marshall(referee of sorts) hasn't said mask off you must NOT take your mask off. I mean, a stray bullet might hit yer face, at let me tell ya, it won't be pleasant. We were also briefed on the many game modes that were available. There's capture the flag, annihilation and deathmatch. We only played CtF and Annihilation though. In which Team A and Team B fought. But we only had nine people so it was 4 against 5. I was in the team of 4. Played for a few hours.

My brother upgraded his firearm to this M-16 like mark(mark is the name of the rifles). He said it was quite heavy and big but it had amazing bullet speed and accuracy. The others only used standard marks. But for me it was good enough. We played with no rules though. Meaning you can shoot at close counters. Which was bad news for me because i didn't wear any body armor. :/
I got shot on my back almost as near as 5 feet. Bloody Andrew. He's a good player but quite reckless and violent. And my brother's friends says he likes to wipe(a technique that is revered to be cheating because the person wipes the paint so that he'll look like he's still alive). Heh.

We got back around 2 pm and although i had bruises all over and a hell of a leg cramp. But hey, that's what you get when you don't wear body armor and not warm up before a game. :D

A good bruise. Hei, no pain no gain. :]

can't wait for another round. :]

Rantai 2007

A blog long overdue. Anyhow, i still remember going there and seeing a lot of kids that are still "new" to the art world. Some of them looked disappointed when there was nothing but art on that day. But hei, it's the Rantai "ART" event. Of course there's gonna be stuff like that. Anyhow, most of the people with skinny colorful jeans just stood aimlessly outside because they weren't interested in the exhibit. There was a lot of art on display. I was quite delighted by the way they made the whole house into this art exhibition.

I went there with Sue or i met Sue there, i can't remember.

Anyhow, i also bumped into Aliaa, Faza, Adilah and Alysa. Alysa played with Alia's camera a lot. She'd say, "Aliaa, nak main.". Haha. Comel je. Anyhow, she and i crossed lens from time to time and we'd take pictures of each other. I can't remember any other details, nor do i want to take the time to remember. So that's all here.

Mind's Eye

Well, i've upgraded my escitalopram to 10 mg from 5 mg. Eventhough it's recommended to take only half of the pill(which is 5 compared to 2.5 like before) daily, i just take the whole tablet. Just to fasten things up. :/
Anyhow, the effects are quite obvious this time. One thing's for sure, i get quite sleepy afterwards. Making my sleeping pills look useless. Heh. Anyhow, i wanna share two good songs with the same title today. One by Wolfmother, a band debated to be a resurrection of the 70's and Josh Ritter, a singer/songwriter i found out about by watching House one day. One thing though, Wolfmother's Mind's Eye's video looks too familiar though. Pink Floyd live at Pompeii anyone? Well, here are their vids.

Wolfmother - Mind's Eye

i'm off to do some sketching. ;D

3 am.

It's 3 am and I just feel so fucking MAD!!! I feel like screaming till my lungs lose function. And i feel like giving up. Oh god, i really gotta stop thinking things. I mean, sometimes i just feel like i wanna pull a Heath Ledger. Fuck fuck fuck. I need a smoke. And i guess i gotta start taking those pills again. I keep skipping 'em. And i heard skipping them is really really really bad for my body. Messes up my system. So i gotta start taking 'em regularly. But then again, i need to go have a fix. Now! So, later.

fuck this.

27 October

Found some old pics. Thought i'd blog 'em.

Well, aan just got back from Bandung. He was good enough to remember to buy some tees for us.
He bought a Rolling Stones shirt, i can't remember the other one, and three Baby Milo's. Haha. Well, clearly i rushed for the Stones shirt. Kest took the one i can't remember and ekey, shay, and adib took the milo's. Heh. Sorry guys. But aan, really, thank you for the shirts. And i'll say that for the rest too. God bless you! >_< Other than that, that day was just pretty much usual. Hung out. Went to mapley. And back to ekey's place and just chilled till around 5. Then we'd hit for the beds. To avoid the sun. Haha. Here are some pics.

just a typical day.

Seifer

I never had the wits to say it in person. But i'm sorry for your loss syahir.
But here's something i thought you should have.

Rest in peace kid.

I'm Not Your Typical Good Kid

Anyone ever heard of Killing in the name?
Well, the other day my parents pissed me off.
And they're the only people in this world that could make me that pissed.
Anyhow, afterwards, i played this song out loud. I love the last chorus. Haha.

Getting Shit Together. Again. -_-"

Well, i finally got the chance or should i say, got into the situation where i have to make something of myself. In an instant i just go, "hei, i've got shit to do."

So, to make things easier i shall do a list. THE list of things to do.
Eventhough it won't be as long as Di's incredible literate work of "The Top 100 Things I'd Do If I Ever Became An Evil Overlord", i'm still determined of writing. :I

12 Things To Do This Next Few Months

1. Start sketching again. Anything, as long as it's something drawn. Preferably charcoal on paper. Cause i said sketch, not paint. :I ( i suck with colors btw.)

2. Learn about t-shirt making from Lyn. Because i wanna have something to do in my freetime, and make money at the same time. :D
3. Update my mp3 playlist. Because all the songs i have now is starting to bore me. Well, repetitiveness tends to do that.
4. Get ready for MMU's Art Market in April. Maybe some t-shirts by then. Or some sketches to be up for sale.
5. Grow my hair. Yes, i shall GROW it. :I
6. Practice the piano. At first I wanted to try out the saxophone but heck, I can’t afford one. >_> not yet that is. :D
7. Start working out and jog again. Gotta balance out the nics, cafs and greens. xI
8. Get rid of the x-filter my parents installed that is making the pc fucking slow.
9. Take out all my albums and data out of the pc so i can format the bloody thing.
10. Read the driving license book. And try to pass the pc test. :I
11. Get through that Starbucks interview.
12. Wait for you.

di's longest blog. = link

23 Jan

Nothing much today. Just posting out of empty time.
Well, woke up at 2.30 today. Got my shit together.
Went up and arrived at ukm station at 3.20.
Bought a ticket to kl sentral. Waited for the train for 40 freakin' mintues.
Five trains passed by on the other side to seremban but none on mine.
I was like, OF ALL THE DAYS!!!!!!!!!! GARH!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyhow, a train arrived at 4. Played Wolfmother on my mp3.
I was half asleep most of the time while the songs still playing in my ears.

Arrived at klcc at 4.50. I was like, 50 minutes late. Again. >_>
Well, as i was going to the loo, on the way out, was Lyn, which was the reason i was there, to just spend some time with her.
And we were, like, hey... you/i need use the loo.?
Heh. Well, when i went out again after, Lyn was gone. :O
I looked around again and again. But i couldn't find her. :/
So i took out my phone to call her, but found a msg from her that said she had to use a different loo. And to just meet up at upper Starbucks.

Well, i went up, she wasn't there. So i looked around for the nearest loo and guessed that she'd be there.
So i sat down in front of the entrance. On a sesame street ride. You know, the one's yang kena masuk a few cents.
Anyhow, i waited and waited but she wasn't there. -_-"
Then i saw someone sit on a bench near starbucks. Judging by her body figure i knew it was Lyn.
Well, that's actually how i recognize women actually. By their body figure. Hahah. Perv, i know! xDD
But hei, it works.

She was looking the other way, so i crept up behind her. Sat quietly behind her.
She was sighing and waiting. And when she got her phone out i got out mine too.
She got up and i dialled her number. She said, "where are you??".
"Behind you", i said. She turned and did a kicking gesture. Heh.

We bought a few drinks but the place was full, so we walked around.
Talked and talked and drank. Then we decided to head to the British Council.
She's a student there. And she has a class today. So we headed there.
When we arrived there was a lot of blokes. And i was a bit worried for Lyn actually. But i guess i was out of place.
Well, we then stopped by Subway for a while. She ordered SALAD! Gah.
And the guy was quite, well, deaf. But can't blame him. He couldn't see us.
He was just the same height of this.... nvm. I don't know how to explain it.
Then, we sat down and she tried to make me join her eat. But i promptly refused.
Well, we chatted again. Russel Peters came up. Haha.

Then we went into British Council again, she gave me a small tour of the place.
But there was one thing that made me scream like a little girl!!!!
Their cd collection!!! I found original cd's of Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, The Beatles!!!!!!!!!!!!
GODDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!! So i asked Lyn if she could borrow some for me.
So we went to the counter. The guy told us that we had to be a student, give him our ic, give details, electric and water bills. Electric and water bills!??
Well, Lyn said she was lazy to do all that so i made a decision.
I wanna learn here someday. For the sake of those cd's!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!!

Anyhow, she had to enter class. So it was time to say gooodbye. :[
Wanted to hug her. But she gave out her hand. For a handshake.
I found it adorable though. The way she popped out her hand.
Before i could even think of giving her any other forms of goodbye. Heh.
Anyhow, today was fun dear. Till next time i guess. :]

had night shift at work after that though. -_-"

Melayu Bercumbuan!! Haha! xDD

[Here's an old blog i made in my old account. I really like this one so i'm reposting it here.]

Ok, i don't really read the newspapers actually.
Unless it's got some big headline that catches my eye or something on gigs or good documentary.
But other than that lets just say that i do not read the newspaper.
And today, as i was clipping my nails, and as i used a piece of newspaper as "alas", i realized a piece of news.
There was sensored pic of a kiss. (well, this truely caught my eye eih, heh.)
But hei, it was about that dude from that tv series.
Then i REALLY got intrigued. i can see it now..
Headline! "PELAKON MELAYU BERCUMBUAN DI PANTAI"
ps: bapak kecoh paparazzi melayu.

anyhow, when i finished clipping, i had a determination to say, so what the fuck huh!?
mampus ah dia nak makeout kat mana!! CIUM PUN KECOH KE!!??
MENYAMPAH GLER!!! I hate it when they use the phrase, "ish, pelakon melayu cium2 in public, tak malu ke?".
aku taw ah melayu but gosh, kecoh gler. big deal. sah2 the paparazzi and the editors never got laid.
sian lak mamat nih. anyhow, the dude was Ashraf Sinclair and the hot chick was Bunga Cinta Lestari(real name? if it was.. wow).

so here's a few pics for those who don't know what i'm talking about.

that's one lucky guy. >_>

Harvesting Victory

Yesterday, the TotB(Top of the Bands, yeah, i know, "top") was held at Alamanda Putrajaya. Near the outdoor fountain just around the bowling place. A few of my friend's have been practicing for this gig for quite some time. Since december actually. They're Ekey, Syahir, Izzy and Faris. Together they are the "Harvesting Space Sounds"[HSS].

At first i thought this botb would be just another botb only it was held at a shopping mall??
But later on the competition advertisement reached newspapers, television, and even the internet.
The judges are also by people of great reputation including Joe from Wings.
The terms and conditions to enter the competition are they have to be represented by a school. And they have to perform two songs, one english and the other malay. Extra marks are given for composing their own song and showmanship.

Anyhow, the event supposedly was starting at 5 pm. But somehow, some bloody arse changed it into 3 pm. Making MOST of the people, actually, EVERYONE that was supposed to root for HSS miss their performance. I arrived around 4.40 pm or something. Only to get the news that they've already performed.

Then, the judging began. ->>>>>> Fast Forward.
It was quite unexpected, just a bit la, but the Harvesting Space Sounds...... WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All of us were jumping like hell. All our friends and comrades. They won the first place prize money which was RM5000. But the catch was, RM3000 was given to the school. Imagine that, all your hardwork, and your school takes it from ya. Heck! Their school didn't even knew that they were in this competition in the first place. Except for the one teacher that gave them the green light. But i heard they'll try to negotiate with the school bout the blings.

Then that night we just hung out as usual. Makan2, some of us singgah Karaoke. xD
Me and Ekey went to the second level of Carrefour and browsed around. Well, we were bored.
And then, Ekey thought, hey, lets buy some sparkling juice, aka champagne ala2. haha.
To celebrate their victory. So we bought two bottles.

That night headed off to Izzy's place. First thing Ekey did was sprayed the the first person he could find, which was Babun, with the juice. Just like they do after F1 races. heh.
Then we played yet another game of pool volleyball in the middle of the NIGHT!!! Haha.

I can't remember what else happened that night. So i'll leave this blog here.
Btw, congratulations guys, you earned it!!

gosh, why can't i remember what happened last night? >_>

11 Ramble

Who want's to hear about some teenager's unfulfilled love life raise their hand!
And mark my words no one would do so unless of course they are already a psychiatrist or a really busy body emo parson.
Well, i agree to that so i'll try my best to not put that topic up anymore.

Soooo... Yesterday i went to ekey's place. Fizan, Babun, Haziq, Nadia and the whole HSS(Havesting Space Sounds) members were there. They were in the studio brainstorming about their upcoming performance at alamanda's botb. I just sat down and watched history in the making. Besides, listening to a live band jam makes a good company to a smoke. I sat down close to a wall beside Nadia so i wouldn't bother them practice.

Anyhow, that night around 2, me, Izzy, Ekey, and Aan went to Izzy's place. So we called Ari for a ride there. Two cars came, Ari's evo and Zap's perdana. Hah. And god, his evo is really one hell of a babe. Well, packed the amps and gear into Ari's car. And as we finally finished stuffing the equipments into his trunk, we sat in the car. So hei, there we were, all set to go. DUSH!!(my blog has a cheap sound system). There was a big crash. At first we thought that it was the luggage back in the trunk. Maybe an amp might have fallen or somethin'. But when i got out, and went to the other side of the car, there was a BIG scratch from the driver door ALL THE WAY to the back bumper.

What happened was, Zap's car had sneakily parked beside Ari's. Zap didn't turn on his lights hence we couldn't see him. So Ari thought the road was clear, and next thing we knew was there was a wham. Well, Ari got quite pissed, i knew, but he just kept it in. I mean, his car is modified to top notch ok. And his car just got out of the repair shop. Well, my sympathies dude. But like i've always said, what's done is done.

Later on we arrived at Izzy's place and i spent the night there. Next morning/afternoon, we woke up, shower, lunch. Then Syahir and Kest arrived with Haziq. They joined us for lunch.
And then Ekey went out to fetch Faridz. They then jammed.

Haziq and Aan headed to the pool. I joined them later on. Then Bulu came over. Been a while since i've seen him. Well, then they all went back in, leaving me still in the pool. But Bulu was still pusing around the pool thinking wether he should take a dip or not. But then, a really sight fer sore eyes... DIANNE!!! :D

She came out of nowhere. She just came in through the fences door. I was so delighted i almost jumped out of the pool but i realized i was in Izzy's boxers and nothing else. If i went out there and then, something else might pop out when i do. -_-"
So i just kept chin deep in the pool and watch Di run around into the house looking for Izzy.
Then she went back outside and asked me to hand an invitation she was holding to Izzy's mom.
Next thing i knew she was already on her way out. :[
Well, think i'll call her tomorrow. :]

Then the guys stopped jamming and headed out. This is where the fun began.
Everyone jumped into the pool. There was, 9 of us. Me, Ekey, Izzy, Syahir, Kest, Faridz, Bulu, Aan, and Haziq. At first we were just jumping in and out. But then someone suggested we play pool volleyball. And heck, we did! :D
Ekey and Izzy setted up the "net/divider". Then the teams were set. At first Ekey was in, but then he retired to referee. Team One had me, Izzy, Kest and Aan. Team Two had Syahir, Faridz, Bulu and Haziq. 4 against 4.

I gotta tell ya, it was very hectic throughout the whole game. Huha habis. xDD
They won the first round. But we won the second. But i'm not sure on who won the third. Hah.
Well, i guess it's gonna be concluded on the next time we meet again! xD
Anyhow, today was fun. Really fun. Because for once, we had our arses off the couch/bed/sofa/hammock and played some sport. No pics for today though, didn't bring the camera. The pic here i just picked out of dA.

Haha, first time i saw syahir play some sport. xDD

Huffin' and Puffin'

I just found out something lately, the answer to one of the questions people ask themselves a lot. Questions that are as hard as why do we exist? Questions that make alchemists ponder.

It is, why do we smoke?

Yes, a question most frequent smokers ask themselves. Once in a while we would take a few puffs and then realize something, why do we smoke? Kest and Syahir both asked me the same thing as we were having a laid back hour. The question just seemed to pop out on it's own. As if an involuntary action.

But yesterday as i ended the license lecture at cheras, i realized, with a cigarette in hand, that i've smoked 4 ciggies in the duration of 5 hours.Which to my standards, is a LOT. Since i usually smoke around only 1 a day or up to a week. I'm more of a social smoker in which i smoke when i have company. And the once in a while ciggarette when i'm down.

But lately, i've been puffing up to 10-12 cigarettes a day. Then yesterday i realized something, i was stressed. Yes, stressed. From work, life and love. Maybe that's why. I guess, in my case, i smoke when i'm stressed. It just happens you know, involuntarily. Stressed, then i smoke. Gosh, i'm kinda gettin' worried fer me lungs. >_>

Rehab. Learning for a change.

I just registered for my driving license this afternoon. I'm a bit nervous bout starting the tests but i'm really eager to end them. I can't wait to get my license. By then i'll be able to go places easier. And i'll be able to see neys and the other girls again. I'll go down to subang and pick them up after school. :]

I have a lecture i have to attend to next morning. Next EARLY morning. Which is something i haven't done in months. Waking early. >_>
The only moments that i've seen the morning sun is when i've pulled an all nighter. Or when i don't sleep for days. Like now, i haven't slept since New Year. I can't explain why. But i feel like shit.

Anyhow, tomorrow, after the lecture, i'll be off to cyber to fill the starbucks form.
Will be trying out for an interview soon. Hope i could make it. :I
And i also gotta get cash for the Dream Theater concert on the 19th at Singapore.
Gosh, where can i find money by that time. garh!!
I also still haven't processed prom pics. Man, i'm so bushed.

The final word is, i've got lots of things to do. Gotta get my health back. Rehab time.
I also have to change myself. Physically and mentally. Gotta be stronger. Gotta be wiser.
But one thing's for sure, i gotta learn for a change.

Been slacking off too much.
